Carnson House

"We stayed at Carnson House for 2 nights and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Although the bathroom was a little small, it was tidy and perfectly functional. The breakfast area was warm, cosy, and charming, creating a lovely atmosphere to start the day. The host was very friendly and welcoming, and kindly allowed us to store our luggage until 6pm after check-out, which was extremely helpful. Overall, a great stay, and we would happily recommend Carnson House to others."

"Clean room on daily basis ; Staff were all friendly and helpful; Breakfast offers complete variety of an English breakfast; Bar is always open and have some entertainment (live bands and karaoke night) every weekend on summer time. The location itself is close to Jubilee pool, beach, penzance harbour, high street, park and walk to Newlyn (neighbouring town) along the promenade. You can leave your luggage before checking in and after checking out."

"Splendid location of traditional seaside hotel. The full seaview we had from our double bedroom was amazing and calming and we enjoyed the mid week craft sale in the dining room. Staff were generally welcoming and helpful but there could have been a few more on duty at breakfast as noone came to offer us tea or coffee."

"Lovely hotel and location with friendly helpful staff. The room was very clean with lovely sea views. The restaurant and bar area were very pleasant. I would have been happy to give 5 stars but the meal at the hotel on the first night was appalling and the group did not eat there again. The cooked breakfast on the first morning was greasy and unpleasant. Subsequent mornings it was better."

"Very nice B&B within easy walking distance of Penzance town. Our room was very nicely furnished with a huge, fabulously comfortable bed and good sized en-suite bathroom. There were tea/coffee making facilities in the room, large tv and ample storage space for clothes. Claire was a super host, chatty and friendly and very helpful with advice and local suggestions. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice on offer and presented beautifully. Car parking was good. All in all it was an excellent stay and we would definitely recommend it and look forward to returning again in the future!"
