"We arrived after a long drive from Kirkjubæjarklaustur, checkin was fast and we were given the room immediately. Room was clean and spacious. Being vegetarians, we did not find enough options in the restaurant in the hotel. so we had to drive to Egilsstaðir which is a 20 mins drive from the hotel which had some decent places to eat. Hotel breakfast was good next day morning. Overall, stay was satisfactory and highly recommend. "
"AMAZING. The staff were super accommodating and welcoming. I was technically late for supper, but they still provided me with THE BEST lamb dinner (sooo much food was provided, and every bite had my mouth watering). The property was beautiful, and the hot tub/sauna were perfect after a long day of traveling. Met some wonderful people who quickly became friends. Would 100% recommend to anyone passing by this area."
"The staff at this hotel were wonderful and helpful. The location for this hotel was fantastic, with lots of parking. It was a large room with a comfortable bed. The burger they sell at the bar was one of the best I had on the trip. We enjoyed our stay!"
"Lovely rural property, road is a little rough getting there, but very peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was perfect with an assortment of breads, fruit, delicious lattes, juices… The woman who was preparing breakfast was kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!"
"The hostel is good. The rooms are equipped with the essentials and are mostly clean. The common areas could have been cleaner though. The kitchen is not so well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helped immediately with any problems. I would recommend the hostel for a short stay."
