"I booked a standard double - on arrival I was given a room key for a top foor room. There is no lift and the stairs are steep. The room was terrible - every surface was sticky, the bed ancient and I felt disgusting just being in there. After checking Expedia it stated they still had 3 deluxe rooms available so I went to ask at reception if i could upgrade. Suddenly nobody spoke English anymore and I had to communicate in my broken French. The lady first insisted she had no other rooms available...

"Der erste Eindruck von dem Hotel hat uns etwas erschrocken. Direkt vor dem Eingang ist eine große Baustelle und auch im Hotel schaut der Eingangsbereich sehr heruntergekommen aus. Da der Aufzug nicht ging durften wie die Koffer durch stickige und heruntergekommene Treppenhäuser und Flure schleppen. Zum Glück hat uns das Zimmer positiv überrascht, welches neuwertig gestaltet war. Das Bad war auch okay und die Klimaanlage hat funktioniert. Das Frühstück war gut und mit ausreichend Optionen. "Zentral gelegenes Hotel in umgebauten Altbau. Sehr großzügiges Zimmer und Bad mit netter kleiner Sitzecke. Etwas schwierig sind die vielen einzelnen Stufen, die sich auch durch mit Aufzug nicht vermeiden ließen. Altbau halt."

"Zeer vriendelijke medewerkers. Prima hotel als je voor een goede prijs kiest. Hotel is wat verouderd, rook niet overal superfris, de kamers waren wat sfeerloos en gedateerd en we hadden geen douche (ook in het bad douchen was niet mogelijk). Pluspunten: ruime kamer, bedden sliepen lekker, verduisterende gordijnen, airco, laadpaal, prima ontbijt (niet echt een buffet). Verder ligt het hotel afgelegen, wel voldoende parkeerplek."

"Such a wonderful hotel!! Staff were outstanding, patio restaurant was excellent, location was ideal! Needed special parking and we were give a great spot! With the hot weather the a/c created condensation on the floors which made it slippery but other that this it was perfect!"
