"Clean room, fresh milk in the room, toiletries, comfortable beds, well heated (which we could control) and amazing breakfasts. We’ve stayed there twice & would happily choose to stay again. "

"Good location, easy to find just off the M5 with a bus stop nearby for regular buses into the centre of Exeter - we went into the city for dinner. Friendly and knowledgeable staff on reception. The hotel is fairly new and is very clean with fresh and airy decoration. The room was spacious, but very hot. The AC didn't really seem to do a lot. "Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun."

"Friendly stay with a great veggie breakfast"

"Arrived at the hotel after a 4 hour journey, pub was closed. Called the number, member of staff said they’d come down and let us in but then called back 2 minutes later to say no room available. There was also no parking available despite the website saying it has parking available. Still haven’t heard anything about cancellation or refund. Do not recommend!"

"Room was great apart from tea and coffee, one tea bag each and one milk each plus no bottle of water, if you are in a supposedly superior room you should expect at least a bottle of water and enough tea and coffee for a couple of drinks each."

"Excellent decor and central location to all the cities amenities. Shower room is in need of a deep clean to remove black mould accumulating in the bathroom. Of note, the coffee machine could also do wirh a clean on a much more regular basis because there's no evidence of maintenance.
