"The Hotel Building itself is lovely but inside the rooms are very rundown and dirty. The walls were covered in scuff marks, the carpet was all rippled posing a trip hazard, the radiator in the bathroom was all rust and one of the coffee mugs was chipped. The breakfast was terrible ."

Our dog friendly room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and very well appointed. The hotel had a relaxed feel and more than met our hope for a stress free getaway. "Lovely period hotel. Amazing staff. Breakfast delicious. Did have an issue with the type of room booked. Hotel very apologetic but said this was due to booking via Expedia. Would have given 5 stars otherwise."
