"The hotel was great for a small town."

"Great property!! My go to place every year."

"This Hotel was in a central location. Brewery right across the street with grat food. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. We showed up 30 minutes after breakfast time and Terry made sure we still got fed. I noticed later in the day after we had left that I lost one of my AirPod in the bed. I called right away and the gentleman told me that he would leave a message with housekeeping. I am now back home, 1900 miles away. I...

"Easy to get to, lots of parking. Free coffee. Staff are very helpful. Walls seemed a bit thin, but definitely a lot of people due to the casino. Easy to get over to Galena for some sight seeing."

"Clean with great amenities"

"We enjoyed the hot tub."

"Very helpful checkin staff and the bar/restaurant was right there. Easy in and easy out."

"Very clean and spacious room. Beds were super comfortable and I love the extra sink and mirror outside of the bathroom. Stayed here after the Halloween parade. Not many snacks to choose from in lobby and we went out for breakfast so can’t comment on that."

"only stayed one night....but comfortable."

"Great place very nice will stay again; poor cell signal in area."

"You can tell this was once a beautiful place. It is very tired now. Pealing wall paper, worn out furniture, paint coming off walls and ceilings and even tattered lace curtains on the windows. Could be beautiful again but would take a large amount of money and work."

"This is the first Holiday Inn Express I’ve stayed at that I felt I went back in time to 30 years ago. This is so outdated I’m shocked that IHG puts their name on this property. Needed remodeled 20 years ago. The coffee looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Was so dirty I left without showering. I’ve been an IHG member for almost ten years and this is the first time I’ve ever seen this. So disappointed that I paid for this online otherwise I would have left."

"We liked staying at the hotel very much. The hotel has a nice Irish vibe to it. We liked our room and breakfast was also very good. We also enjoyed eating dinner at the Pub."

"Friendly staff, quiet hotel."

"Had the hotel for 2 nights but since I took my luggage with me after the first night the staff checked me out of my room even though I never formally checked out or notified the front desk that I was leaving. Later on that evening when I returned, a couple was assigned my room and came in while I was in there. Afterwards, when night management clocked in, again my room was assigned to another couple, that came in again while I was in my room. Not the best hotel experience I've had."

"Nice place to stay, room was really nice"
