"Hotel is in a great location for the city. It was clean, staff excellent and helpful. Breakfast choices were good and the food was very nice. Room a bit tired. Biggest issue was that the air conditioning was ineffective, even turned down to the lowest setting. I’m sure not a problem most of the time ..."

"Our room was really dated. Wallpaper and walls bashed and marked with what looked like mould on the ceiling. The bathroom sink and shower/bath wouldn’t drain away the water. The beds and pillows were really hard and uncomfortable. Generally just in need of an update and refresh"

"Was easy to find and a convenient location to access the centre of Middlesbrough, including the football stadium if you are there for a game. Room was good value for money - only comment is it had a small kitchen area but no wardrobe to hang up clothes..,not the biggest issue as it was only an overnight ..."
