Conifer wood below Higher Cotley. An unnamed wood, partly mixed, on a steep slope in the unnamed valley that cuts deeply down from the Haldon ridge at Cotley to meet the Sowton Brook valley. Seen from 690402, a little further east. The building above right is Dandylands, in SX8589. Compare 164764, which include some of this scene, and was taken in May 2006.

Check in was easy, good communications with host. Well equipped, comfortable and spacious apartment with a great view of the bay. Good value for money, especially in the off season. A car is a must as the roads are very, very steep.
