"Receptionists on arrival and departure very obliging and helpful giving my wife and I an upgraded room as there was one available. All staff polite and made sure all was to our satisfaction. Dinner menu was such that there was a good choice, all reasonably priced and cooked / presented to a high standard. Likewise for breakfast. Good touring base and would recommend."

"The parking lot is small so , try to get a place by arriving not so late. We arrived very late , maybe 11pm - 12am , but SOMEONE left the key at the front desk with a note, we never saw anyone because we left the hotel very early in the morning, it was nice , we stayed at a basement room tho "

"The hotel once our Sat Nav got us there was very very good. The staff were all lovely and friendly. The room was spacious and beautifully clean with a lovely big bathroom with a full size bath and shower. The breakfast was really lovely again really friendly helpful staff. Our evening meal was also a delight and reasonably priced. My husband bought me a hot stones massage from the Spa for my birthday. It was done by the lovely LJ and was so relaxing. "We loved our short stay in Cairn Lodge. The hotel is so beautifully decorated, the staff is warm and welcoming, the food was delicious. The room was clean and smelled so fresh. The bed was super comfortable. This place hasn’t missed a single thing. I easily give it 5 stars!"

"Immaculate accommodation, exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. Good coffee pod machine with fresh milk which was a nice touch. Good shower and toiletries. Very centrally located to all amenities, including shops and train/bus stations. Cheap car parking for £3.50/day at the train station. Only slight niggles were strange clicking noises coming from fridge and would have liked an earlier check in time. Aside from that, we very much enjoyed our stay. "
