"Please be aware. This 122 year old facility has a community/shared bathroom, not a bathroom in each room as typical in today's hotels. This means you may have to wait for another guest to finish in the bathroom before you get your turn. Carpets need replacement. Some renovations are in progress. Rooms are clean, but small. Staff was accommodating. Parking was fine."

"Staff was very helpful. Appears to be 60's era motel that is holding up well. Great price, right across from lovely Lake Flower. Near shops. Great Bicycling area!"
Park Motel and Cabins

"The cabin was a little bit smaller than expected (photos on the website felt a little bit bigger) but everything was clean and comfortable. It was great having air-conditioning because we were there during a very hot week. We planned ahead and brought a an electric frying pan and an air fryer grill so that we could save a little bit of money and cook in our room so having picnic tables out on the grounds was wonderful to be able to take our food outside to eat. The only downside was the Wi-Fi was very weak, we were not able to use the TV at all because it was connected to Wi-Fi. Thankfully there was a great thunderstorm that we could watch as we shut off all the lights and encourage us to tell some scary stories to each other! My one suggestion would be to invest in a mesh system for the Wi-Fi so that the signal can reach all of the rooms and cabins successfully. Definitely helpful for parents like me that travel with children on the spectrum."

"Beautiful property on the lake. Check in was slow and they were behind schedule, which was frustrating. However, they gave us free breakfast vouchers, which helped. The restaurant was great, we ended up eating there twice. It’s also one of the only waterfront places to eat, as most of downtown isn’t waterfront. It’s a quick walk to downtown, but it’s hilly at points. It was nice to relax by the lake and watch the sunset, and enjoy the firepits at night. There’s also a cute ice cream place next door. Room was clean and modern, and pool/hot tub were nice for a quick dip. Overall, I’d recommend."
