Beautiful warm and welcoming cabins right on the lake. Also a fantastic place to stay in winter. The owners are extremely helpful and responsive, even in the "off season" for the area. Wonderful retreat for writers, base for snowshoers or for anyone who loves the quiet of winter.
The location is beautiful, and the owners have kept their up the motel feeling of the place with style. The rooms were carefully and thoughtfully furnished, and we enjoyed our little, private screened in porch. We just loved it!
Peaceful, comfortable, cozy! Friendly staff, lovely gardens and very well maintained grounds made my stay very nice.

Location was perfect quiet great view of the lake and area. NOT MUCH IN CHOICES OF Eatteries close
After a last-minute decision to head up to the ADK for a quick fall weekend, my wife and I decided to stay midway between two locations that we normally visit - Old Forge and Lake Placid. The location was an excellent choice. We have already looked into their cottage options for a longer future trip with extended family!
This was literally the most beautiful spot to stay at for our visit. Check in was simple and self done, parking was easy around the property. We were right by the water and had a screened in porch which was great and wonderful sunset and restaurants were a close drive away. Would definitely return again!

Location great. Room a bit damp but is old snd on a lake.
It was beautiful the log cabins are beautiful price is a little high for some families but I don’t think they have any problem renting these beautiful cabins . The motel area is in need of some extensive work and many updates but they seem to improving every year nice views of the lake

It’s nice that it’s on the lake but be prepared for the motel rooms to be very basic and not updated. It still looks like the 1970s since its last update (except for the small flat screen tv). Coffee machine and teas were from Kirkland, screened porch had plastic cheap seating and the screen was ripped across. The fridge/ microwave are located out on your porch and are also extremely old. Beds were comfortable but the room smelled like stinky chemicals from two air fresheners they placed on the floor. We immediately put them outside to air out the room (makes you wonder what type of smell they are trying to hide). Recommend that if you are staying here try to get a cabin rather than the motel room. It was the last room left in the area… good enough for the solar eclipse but would not select it id there were any other options.
The beds were very comfortable. There was a nice screened porch which allowed me to sleep with the door to the porch open. There were also several great places to eat within walking distance. I love this place!
Room clean and comfortable with a nice Adirondack feel. Loved the private screened in patio. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom is small but maneuverable.
This was the quietest, most-beautiful place I’ve had the pleasure of staying in WNY. The grounds were clean and well managed by owners, who were kind and visible. The room we stayed in was incredible and had immaculate comfort and views. We stayed in cabin 10. I told the owners we loved it and will be back, and that will be the case. Couldn’t have asked for nicer people or a nicer place to stay.
The cabin is spotless. Everything is done well - the layout, the high ceilings. Feels spacious even with the minimal square footage. It’s definitely big enough for a small family. The futon bed couch is also a great touch for relaxing at night watching a show. The view from 4 Haven is spectacular!
This place is AMAZING! A slice of 1950 Americana in the gem of Long Lake! Loved it - Everything about it! I highly recommend visitng this place if you have a chance! (Beds are only full size though so be prepared to sleep separate) Just go! Thank you for a truly wonderful vintage experience!
