Nice hotel in not so nice area.

Pleasant hotel with clean, comfortable rooms. Very easy to get into Dortmund by train, the station is only a couple of minutes walk away and the train takes about 10 minutes. Unfortunately the area is not very nice. In warmer weather be sure to ask for a room away from the road, it is extremely noisy and the window needs to be open to let in cooler air.

Save your money

Very old hotel, very hot rooms. Probably couldnt be a worse area of town. Elevator broken down for our whole stay. WOULD NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Online, it said that the front desk staff would be there until 10pm. We arrived at 8:56 p.m.,and there was no one. The hotel was locked, and we weren't able to go inside or check in. We tried every form of getting ahold of someone to no avail. I ended up having to book a new hotel after trying for about 40 minutes.

Ett hotell som är i behov av renovering. Rummet var rent men det var väldigt slitet. Sängarna upplevde vi som bra. Ljudnivån på rummet mot gatan var alldeles för hög. Det störde sömnen rejält. Frukosten var väldigt enkel men allt smakade bra.

Ok men slidt værelse.

Vi havde bestilt en dobbelt queensize seng men fik i stedet 2 enkeltsenge og vi havde bedt om en babyseng men hun fik en almindelig seng uden sider så det var ikke nemt for os med vores baby. Værelset var lidt renoveret men ellers meget slidt.

Leider kein Aufenthalt mit Wohlfühlfaktor!

Nun ja, wo fange ich an. Der Check in verlief reibungslos und schnell. Leider gab es keine Parkplätze mehr auf dem hoteleigenen Parkplatz - zum Glück hatten wir einen an der Straße gefunden. Der Aufzug war defekt. Das Zimmer war von der Größe gut, das Bett gemütlich. Leider befand sich das Zimmer in einem schlechten Zustand - verlebt und überall fand man Macken und Beschädigungen. An einer Ecke fehlte Tapete und wahrscheinlich sind die schwarzen Verfärbungen Schimmel? Das Frühstück war okay, nichts Außergewöhnliches, jedoch ausreichend und eine gute Käse- und Wurstauswahl. Anbei ein paar Impressionen - wir werden das Hotel nicht wieder besuchen, zum Glück waren wir nur eine Nacht da.

Wir waren für eine Nacht für eine Veranstaltung im Fredenbaumpark im Hotel. Anbindung mit der Straßenbahn super. Es war sauber, bis auf 2 Kleinigkeiten. Die Balkontür könnte eine Reparatur gebrauchen. Frühstück war gut. Pluspunkt: es gab auch Geflügelwurst. Minuspunkt: es wurde Morgens das Wasser wegen einer Reparatur abgestellt, ohne Mitteilung. Nach einer kurzen Reklamation wurde das Wasser noch mal angestellt. Alles im Allem werden wir das Hotel wieder buchen, wenn es zum Lichterweihnachtsmarkt im Fredenbaumpark geht.

im Großen und ganzen eine gute Unterkunft allerdings die putzkräfte sind schon vor 10 Uhr an der Zimmer Tür am klopfen teilweise schon mit dem Schlüssel die Tür auf machen um sie darauf aufmerksam zu machen das um 11 Uhr Check out ist aus dem Grund ein dickes Minus Punkt .

Wir hatten über Expedia gebucht und auch schon bezahlt, als wir ankamen, gab es unser Zimmer aber gar nicht. Wir wurden dann in ein 2,5 km entferntes Partner-Hotel umquartiert, das sicher keine 3 Sterne hatte. Sehr alt, sehr einfach, sehr schlechte Gegend - das knapp100 Euro pro Nacht also definitiv nicht wert. Ob es ein Fehler von Expedia oder eine Abzocker-Masche des Hotels war kann ich nicht sagen, wir werden dort jedoch sicher nie wieder buchen.
