"Rooms are charming, well appointed and clean. Shower really good. Breakfast first class. Stayed here a few times and never disappointed. Don't expect straight walls and stairs - they are not included in a place with this much history and charm! Staff very helpful and pleasant. Well lit parking. Minutes from Heathrow. What more could you want?"

"Room was clean but very tired as was the building in general . Breakfast was plenty but cooked breakfast was not fresh as in sausages were hard to cut and bacon crispy and dry . Have stayed there many times in the past, it’s a lovely building in style but unfortunately hasn’t been lovingly cared for by Greene King brewery. Shower was hot and quite powerful but no shower/bath mat available was a case of do I break anything on my body trying to climb out of bath as so slippery "

"Le personnel est sympathique, serviable et discret. J'ai très bien dormi car la chambre est calme avec un matelas très épais et confortable. Vous avez le choix entre le petit déjeuner continental ou britannique : personnellement j'ai pris le britannique. L'hôtel est à proximité des arrêts de bus et de la gare du métro/train. Il y a aussi la possibilité de louer des vélos électriques à 1livre/30 minutes. "
