There is a pharmacy thats near, also restaurants. Its very convenient. Tony is very friendly and helpful always there when you call him. Please dont go looking for the Hilton its a comfy stay with the amenities that you need.

This accommodation provides the basics in the studio room. About 4×3 (12) square meters bedroom with small kitchen, gas stove, refrigerator, sink, and microwave. The attached bathroom is clean. Wifi in the room is stabilt. I used the accommodation as base for road trips which worked fine. Diego Martin and Port of Spain have a high crime rate according to locals; be aware of this.

Basic place to stay with WIFI. You Need a Car.

Tony the owner was helpful, took me to nearest grocery first day. When I decided to leave after 3 days, he decided to refund me the difference I had paid. I left because location not what I needed, tried to arrange beach transport was quote $70USD to go to the beach, I had hoped to swim more. Apparently the local pool broken at that time. There is one resort on island, that is also not a very swimmable place. sadly Trinidad has not moved forward in 40 years, saw what I needed to see in a day downtown. Met with people i needed to meet with so a mosquito room in a house in the hills was not for me. I flipped to Miami $50 a night motel on the beach. Now, if you can do basic, this is the place with lots of space during carnival. but its basic. Wifi good. You will need a car if you want to stay here to save money. MaxiTaxi takes you downtown, you need to know where to find bus to go anywhere its all from Downtown, 20 min maxi taxi ride.

A good flat/appartment, no luxury but a clean hostal/hotel room and a very service minded owner/manager. I do recomend it to solo travellers and it is clean but no honeymoon or family place, it is a little too basic for that.

Overall the place was ok but there were spiderwebs in the garden, the chairs weren’t cleaned off to enjoy it. There was a Spiderweb in the totaster so I didn’t want to cook anything. The fridge was rusted with chipped paint. If the furniture was upgraded and a thorough cleaning was done I would have enjoyed my stay.

Comfortable and Resonable Priced

Amazing three days stay at Tony's Guest House. Very comfortable, warm homely place. The guest house is near to all local shops and transportation, yet extremely quiet and private. Tony's Guest House will be my place to stay anytime I am on Vacation in Trinidad.

Best you can get for the price.

The Guesthouse is in a rural quiet area but it is a good stopover point. Very basic. No AC but there is a fan. However, great for the price. Tony and Dick, the gardener, were kind, welcoming, and honest. Tony offers a free tour of an interesting part of Trinidad that I highly recommend.

Tony's Guesthouse

nothing fancy but clean with stove, refridgerator, air condition and fan. most of all around security. An affordable place with Tony always available. Since this is about 3 houses close to public transportation I walked and got a taxi to take me to Church in Woodbrook. Port of Spain. The driver saw my walking disability and accepted a small additional fee to drop me in front of the Church. Other passengers said ok. Tony's place is like a rain forest. I washed my clothes and hang it out to dry on his line noting an available iron board. Walked across the street and purchased Chinese food, stag beer, coke etc. Tony supplied plenty of toiletry, soap for kitchen and bathroom, cooking utensils. I boiled my water to make ice.
