"Hotel itself is lovely, in particular the rooms, gym and pool. Breakfast is excellent. The area around the hotel is new (it’s being aimed at the very wealthy so is high-end, but a bit soulless) and there is a lot of construction going on, which woke me early each day. The hotel is handy for the train station (5 min walk) but is not in the centre of Andermatt village, which is a further 5-10 minute walk past the train station. "
"Amazing location. The only problem and it is minor, is that the check-in process is a bit confusing. A little nerve wracking standing in a foreign space wondering if you're going to have a room. Overall though, we'd go back. "

"It was up a mountain and so quite! The owner is a very friendly man and is eager to accomodate your wishes. Very good and friendly communication and reception.
Although the room and chalet are authentic, the bed slept fine.
And if you want a massage there! He is a licenced massage therapist! So relaxed!
