There was litter in the parking lot when we pulled in. Just the general vibe was uncomfortable outside. We were there on Mother’s Day and many restaurants were closed. We had to ask twice to be moved because the first room smelled like an ashtray. The gentleman host apologized and wondered aloud why it was “in rotation” since the previous guests had been fined for cigar use. Once in our new room, there was a family of animals above us. We called the room directly, telling them it sounded like they were going to come thru the ceiling. It did not stop. We then called the front desk, with no answer. He did call back and made the family of animals move across the hall. Would not recommend.

The stay was good only one negative thing is that the noise is awful. If your neighbor opens the door you hear it, if they talk in the hallway you hear it. The first night we were there our neighbors were in some kind of altercation and it was so loud and disturbing.

Dead of winter got in my room, the air conditioning was on it was 64 degrees in my room. Clock was wrong I couldn’t change the time so I just unplugged it, ironing board would not stay up to iron my clothes so I had to use it folded down & on top of the mini fridge & the little ledge in the shower looked like it was going to fall off the wall any minute. Place needs to be upgraded.

The doors to the room do not block sound. People were in conversation at what was probably a reasonable volume but could still hear them while trying to get early sleep ahead of a tournament. Fortunately after 10pm it was quiet enough.

The room was disgusting and when we tried to get a refund Tracy at the front desk denied it because I didn’t have Time to go up and check my room when I checked in because I had work so after when I went to go sleep in my room and tried to get the refund she denied it and lied saying she had no control over it

The hotel is convenient to my son’s house, the last two times we stayed there it was very loud and noisy and we were next to a utility area I think they were cleaning at night. So no rest at all.

Generally this place is fine. Top areas for improvement: the pool was cloudy (yuk). They could have more variety for the egg and breakfast meat choices from day to day (why no bacon? why only bell pepper frittatas?) or even on the same day. The staff could be more attentive and friendly. I had paid via Expedia but they charged me again during my stay. I had to call Hilton to clear that up which they did very promptly once I talked to a manager. I think the front desk person "clicked on the wrong box" (per the Hilton manager), so they might need more training.
