"Totally overpriced we paid $1500/night, should have been max $300/night. They claim they are a 5-star hotel but this is a 3 star place at best. I can’t comprehend that this place is a Taj collection hotel. We have stayed at many and there is NO comparison with Taj Gangtey and other 5 stars Taj hotels we have stay at. Don’t book."

"Beautiful new hotel with balconies and great views over the valley. Staff were very friendly and helpful, going the extra mile to resolve the issue of double booking. Bhutanese food was superb and breakfast great. Would definitely recommend. "

"Great location overlooking the valley. Huts are clean and modern with good heating. Staff are very friendly. Evening meal was good"

"Nice view from hotel, nice staff ,"

"Very good staff cleanest hotel .I advise all"

"Arun was the star. His politenss and personal attention to the guests is examplary."

"Although the bathroom clean it was stinking throughout our stay The Bar was short staffed and unable to take any snack orders The hotel discourages payment through Credit card and charges 3% over the bill for it"

"Very nice place, with good food. But very expensive, particularly by Bhutanese standards. There's another place with a fantastic view directly overlooking the Punakha Zhong that is included in the package tour prices, so you don't have to pay extra. "

"This property in Punakha is truly exceptional! The staff are incredibly attentive, the views are breathtaking, and the owner is wonderfully hospitable. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Punakha."

"On 26.05.18 while reaching Khuru Resort, they denied your confirmation. We arranged new Hotel on high rate cause huge sufference. Please refund my entire amount paid to you & received by you immediately."

"Very good stay"

"Dewachen is a amazing property and fantastic location overseeing the Phobjikha valley. Rooms with wooden flooring n walls are spacious with the old fashion bukhari (wood fired heater) and chopped firewood placed outside every room.Good breakfast options. Restaurant needs a bit of improvement since we were offered a set menu for lunch and dinner, would have preferred ala carte on a vacation. Lack of eating joints in the vicinity. Food and other facilities for drivers needs to improve else...

"Zingkham was the best hotel experience in my 15 days Bhutan trip. The view of Punakha Dzong from the room balcony was a beautiful sight. The restaurant served a fantastic breakfast and we ate a delicious ala carte lunch and dinner. The warm and welcoming staff deserve a special mention. Room and room facilities are fantastic will certainly stay again at same property for a longer time on my next visit."

"I love this hotel! The staff is so friendly, respectful, and the food is excellent. I look forward to staying here again! The hotel is conveniently located near the riverside, and the monastery near the riverside is so peaceful!"
