Located in the heart of st louis island, the receptionist Aja was incredibly kind and frriendly, she helped me arrange transportation to my demdik back to dakar, thank you so much for an incredible stay. "Staff super helpful, arranged a driver for the day, as well as transfers to/from airport. Rooms comfy; a little dated but had helpful amenities like universal outlets. Nice restaurant and pool. Did not have breakfast here."

"After I made the booking via Expedia, I got a welcome email from the hotel in French but the dates of my stay they mentioned where wrong (July 2019). I contacted them to rectify the dates and number of but they did not answer. I asked a colleague from the conference to check with the hotel and after I sent 2 email, the replied. "The property was quiet and the staff, Adji and Muhammad and the other guy whom I can’t remember, were all excellent hosts. They made me feel welcome. Adji went the extra mile to arrange a tour for me and El Hadj, the tour guide was wonderful as well. I will definitely recommend this lace ."

"Do make sure you confirm your reservation with the hotel. I had to send to send a friend to the hotel to physically confirm my reservation before I arrived in Mauritania. Do expect check in to take anywhere from two to five hours. We waited an hour and a half for checkin because electricity was down. We found many families who have been waiting for hours for check in. Electricity and internet went down more than three times when we were at the hotel for a week’s stay. Do not expect good customer...

"Hotel advised a shuttle would be there at 3am to bring me to hotel on arrival - but no shuttle. Property is fine overall, but needs a coat of paint to refresh it. Staff overall were doing their best with a smile. Important: they do not take credit cards, only cash."

"This is the best hotel that I’ve experienced in Nouakchott. If you like a small, cozy hotel and would like to avoid a mega sized hotel, this is the go to hotel. Yet, though it applies to other hotels in Nouakchott, a credit card machine didn’t work. So be prepared to pay for it in cash or a bank transfer."
