"The room was cold and the staff had to bring a space heater to heat the room. But the staff was very attentive and tried to please us anyway she could. The door didn't fit properly and you could see sunlight through the bottom of it. Also, there was no chair to sit in to read, no dresser, limited outlets for someone who needs to use a CPAP and other electrical equipment. "The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. The house manager should, I think, mark the floor level changes with bright tape because it takes a while to remember where they are. The house is pleasant and cosy and we enjoyed staying...
