"The location and price was right. Tub wouldn't drain....they fixed it, spiders in our room and the bathroom was tiny"

"Staff stated that the hotel was too full to take out garbage and replace towels in room for 3 days of our stay. I had to physically get bags and take out garbage myself."

"Clean room and clean shared bathroom. Good location"

"It was decent for the price, but the floors were very dirty in the room. Although we paid for late check out that allowed us to stay until 1 pm instead of 11, we got a knock on our door at 9:45 AM to see if we were still there and then at 11:15, a man walked straight into our room while my daughter and I were in the bathroom getting ready (the bathroom door was open and he had a direct view into the room). I’m sure it was accidental, but when you’ve paid extra to stay late, I feel like this...

"It was very clean! It was very close to the Wild Center where we were going. The sink was so small it was not usable. We had difficulty with the TV (2 remotes) and the heating system had no instructions for it's remote. A very clean but stressful stay."

"Room was clean, surrounding area was beautiful. Convenient location. Good shower and TV . Very basic accommodations, not fancy Only complaint is that we would have felt safer with another lock on the door. Only lock was keypad deadbolt, which barely went into the door jam."

"The space was perfect for our needs. The mini fridge in the room was very handy, and the shared kitchenette space was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the mix of vintage and new! The room was right out of central casting, but updated with a really nice shower and sink and TV availability. It was super close to the downtown of Saranac Lake, and we could walk to a nice hike."

"Lovely hostess at this bed & breakfast where we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. It checked everything on my wish list: relaxing atmosphere, clean room decorated in theme, lake access and a place to sit and enjoy the water and nature. I hope to return !"

"Very cute place for a single or couple. Very comfortable bed. Good off street parking. Super clean. Owner was readily available for questions. Wi-Fi particularly good.... all around highest rating."

"I would just note that the bedrooms are on the top floor and there are stairs going to the ground floor where the living area, balcony, kitchen and dining area are. The rooms were lovely cabins with lots of room. It included all types of goodies to make your stay welcoming. In the bathroom there were toiletries, a hair dryer, and soft fluffy towels. We greatly appreciated the complementary coffee and tea as we'd forgotten to pack those. We also liked the sampling of books in our cabin to occupy...

"The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. The house manager should, I think, mark the floor level changes with bright tape because it takes a while to remember where they are. The house is pleasant and cosy and we enjoyed staying...

"A cozy cabin in the woods, only a brief walk away from the lake, and a comfortable fit for our family of 5. Very well stocked kitchen - we were able to cook all our meals easily. We especially enjoyed the screened-in porch and the swimming area and kayaks that were available for guest use. Ice cream/trading post for food/supplies and a boat rental all just up the road if you want to take advantage of the lake. The property managers were extremely welcoming (a fresh pie in the fridge!) and very...
