"Rooms in new hotel claustrophic and poorly laid out. Poor lightling. No hooks to hang up towels or robes in bath, etc."

"Friendly welcome and efficient check in. Suite and hotel are immaculately clean. The style of the lounge and bedroom is different (mix of colours and patterns has the feel of 1974 :)). However all items were new and in perfect condition. Bathroom is modern, fully equipped (loo bidet, bath and separate shower ) It seems to be a conference /event venue. 15 to 20 minute stroll into the town centre. Would recommend I will return next time I am in Torun"

"This is one of the most beautiful hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. The only issue is no lift to that floor but the desk clerk was very willing to help with our bags. The room was very comfortable, cool to my standards(being an American) and the village of Torun is absolutely charming. It's was conveniently located and in close proximity to what we wanted to do during our very short stay - explore the main square and environs and visit the Living Gingerbread Museum. We arrived before the hotel's scheduled check-in time but the front desk staff informed us our room was ready and allowed us to take possession. We did not incur an additional fee. "I cannot over-emphasize how unique the top level apartment is. You won't find anything like this in a typical hotel in Poland. You get an amazing view of the square, plus a large sitting area, and a well equipped kitchen. The furniture in the apartment is exquisite, and are of a quality you would put in your own home.
