"Overall we were happy with our stay. The outside if the hotel and grounds are pretty, the food in the evening and morning was to a very high standard. We stayed in a very good sized suite, which pleasantly surprisingly had 2 bathrooms with matching showers, toilet and bath. On the whole, the staff were polite and accommodating to our requests. "Do no stay at this hotel, it is terrible. It was totally run down. The curtains were ripped and hadn't been washed in years. The bathroom was filthy with brown stains in toilet and black grime on shower seals. The sink had hard toothpaste left on it obviously from the guests before us. The room itself was thick with dust and the carpet was covered in stains and hadn't been hoovered in weeks.Even the walls had dirty marks all over them We had booked 2 rooms and both were as bad as each other. "No aircon (which we knew) but the windows don't fully open and the small fan was next to useless. The bathroom in particular was oppresively hot and the whole hotel needs major investment (think 1970s vibe)"

"The member of staff was extremely rude and passive and dismissive. The bedroom was messy and there were lots of inappropriate noises going on at 2am. It was a very unsettling experience. Do not go."

"Convenient for the Coastal Path, with Coop and Pub nearby. A good place to stay for a night. Dinning area is useful, but limited cooking options."

"The room was hotter than the sun, the fan provided did nothing and even the floor felt hot. The towels and sink had hairs on them. The room had one plug socket and it was nowhere near the bed. The temperature of the shower couldn’t be controlled, it was extremely hot in the room so I turned on only the cold tap and when I switched it to shower it would still come out hot and change temperature frequently and I couldn’t control it."

"We stayed at the property last year, somethings have changed not necessarily for the better. I always look forward to a cooked breakfast but sadly they no longer do cooked food at all which is a shame and sadly a continental breakfast doesn't work for me"
