"Henri was an exceptional coast from beginning to end. his property is quiet and remote on a very quiet and remote island. The ferry is easy. He has bicycles to tour of the island. wash tanks for dive here a lovely gym and pergola by the beach. breakfast is homemade continental. he helped us with dinner at the only restaurant on the island. We felt very pampered throughout our entire trip. He paid attention to every detail."

"The island, beach and the sea is beautyful. Many many mosquitos. Only one bungalow have mosquitonet. Restaurant and room dirty, poor equipment. No facility. Pigs near restaurant. Food not edible. We have to buy own yogurt, whitsh the staf take it till morning...garbage dump neer the bungalows. Management -10 point. His not interested nothig... Pity for such a beautiful place. "

"Really cute property and food was excellent (which is good because there are few local options otherwise). Grounds are very well maintained and create a very nice atmosphere. AC worked very well--a plus and sometimes rarity on the islands. Internet not available in all rooms (needs some signal extenders most likely), which was a problem for me as I had to work a bit regrettably. Rooms are comfy but minimally appointed. I would definitely stay here again."

"Excellent access to some of the best diving in the world. Located right on the water and Tumakahoa pass, this location is right on shark alley and some of the most beautiful coral I’ve seen. The property is rustic but over the water and right on the reef. It is a lot like camping. Cold showers, no locking doors, damp bedding when it rains and few amenities are all part of the experience. The boat ride from Fakarava north is a little more than an hour and can really only be done in the daytime....

"This simple guesthouse is very remote and basic, but I would definitely stay here again. Our fare (traditional bungalow) was modest, but comfortable and charming and set on the water's edge. Meals consisted mostly of fish, rice, chicken and pasta. The staff was wonderful and the diving spectacular."
