"The area in Vio is challenging. The staff was polite and professional.
The booking did not show up and the rate paid for was not what expected.
From the site it appeared to be a nice place and probably it was 20 years ago. The bug netting in room was not in good shape. AC was a fan and had to share bathroom.
The location appeared to be ideal however it was really in town.
Was advised not walk at night.
Place is run down needs updating and maintenance updates.

"Just wonderful. You will not find this level of service even in Mombasa and Nairobi hotels. The staff is amazing as are the culinary creations from the on-site restraunt. There is nothing I can say negative about this experience. In the jungle living like a king. To those who expect National Geographic please set your sites lower. While you will see plenty of African animals the king of the jungle is elusive."

"Voi Safari Lodge is perfectly located for seeing wildlife. The lodge is located inside Tsavo East National Park, which means that guests have to pay entrance fee for the park to get to their accommodation. This would have been good to know in advance. Once inside, guests can move freely on the roads (without leaving their car ....). Watching elephants, antelopes etc at breakfast, lunch and dinner is nice. Make sure to lock (not only close) windows not only when leaving room but also at night. I...
