"This place is on the pricey side, but is by far the nicest hotel in Longyearbyen. The staff, the room, the food, and the hotel itself are all amazing. The included breakfast is excellent. The hotel itself is located on one of the highest locations in town, so there is a bit of an uphill climb back to the hotel after a day of exploring, but not an issue. Special thanks to Tina and Maiju at reception, and Daniel in the dining room for providing above and beyond amazing service."

"The shared bathroom was not cleaned daily. They had a small shared kitchen and dining area. There was a washer/ dryer. That was very nice. Just bring your detergent and fabric softener. A nice daily breakfast was included. Coffee and tea was always available. I would not get the daily dinner. Most of the time, it was terrible. Overcooked, dried and salty. In one dinner, a bay leaf was left in the food. I was very upset because that was a choking hazard. The best part of my stay was...

"At first, when we arrived late at 2.00 AM. The first room we've got has no heater. There's no LED light or sign of working, so the room was freaking cold. We went back to the reception again to change the room. And then everything seemed OK with the warming heater. The room is quite old and a lot if dirts, not well cleaned. So this must be improved. The breakfast is great, variety of choices with good qualities. I'm a Radisson's gold member, that has gold benefits, such as complementary...

"Location of hotel The Vault is perfect. Breakfast is good, but very much the same every day. The staff gives good service! I have been a guest many times, and I will come back."

"I had a wonderful and excellent stay here. A simple and rustic accommodation, an old minors hut, basic, but very comfortable, clean and warm. Excellent and polite staff, always with smile and happy to help. I will stay here again when I return."

"Had a super lovely stay at the Basecamp Hotel. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, lovely and cosy atmosphere at the hotel with great breakfast. It was quiet and located conveniently. Absolutely recommend staying there."

"Nice facilities, very spacious room! Shower was really nice, also contained a washing machine and dishwasher (powder and tablets for both included). Super convenient as shops very nearby and easy for tour/activity pickups."
