"Overall, this is a beautiful resort with some highs and a few frustrating downsides. I’d rate it an 8/10. The property itself is stunning, and the beach is absolutely beautiful. "The property could use some updating; most everything is run down and overly dated, gurgling shower and broken landscape lights and all, they seem to operate on a bare bones shoestring budget, and barely stock items such as the bar with drink selections, poor and not restocked. "Very good hotel. But be warned that the surrounding community is very noisy: dogs barking most of the time (stray dogs are an issue), roosters crowing, and vehicles beeping their horns as a warning to other drivers/pedestrians on the winding roads and blind curves around the hotel. "

"An absolutely incredible experience; start to finish! Pre-departure, the hotel staff ensure smooth airport transfers as well as a full menu of daily activities to consider. Upon arrival and throughout our stay, Mandarin's hotel staff exceeded our expectations. There is plenty to do on the premises and the food was excellent.
