"Room not what we were expecting as it wasn’t a cabin but a very damp smelling old and worn lodge in a row of other lodges which were all connected together. However after paying an upgrade on our booking we were allocated a large cabin near the lake"

"It was very clean and lovely staff and the view of the lake from our window was excellent, but other than that it was just a standard 4 Star hotel and not worth 217.00 pounds per night. The breakfast was ok but after our evening meal we were charged 10% service fee on top and a 5 pound tray charge, I assume that was for carrying the food out from the kitchen, I had them deducted it off the bill when we checked out. I think I was hoping for something special but it wouldn't"

"Really lovely stay. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and well kept, with a modern bathroom. The spa was excellent, and it was especially nice to relax in the hot tub overlooking the mountains. Breakfast had a great range of options, including a hot breakfast and continental selection, and the food was excellent. Would definitely stay again. The only slight downside was the £10 parking charge, although I appreciate parking in the area is limited."

"Nice hotel , nice garden with places to sit in among the ducks. Clean rooms . Bit unsure on how to get into the model village on site , no information on it anywhere. Got to the gate only to find you needed a ticket from reception which is a good way back up hill so didn’t bother. Sign at reception would have been a good idea. Lovely receptionist when we checked in but the one in the morning was so miserable, never smiled and just seemed like she didn’t want to be there . Having said that...
