"Liked everything but the bed being surrounded by three walls and the terrible shower taps. Wasted so much time and water trying to adjust it. i don't understand why some hotels waste time snd money trying something unique when old fashion works the best."

No space for a couple of hanging hooks but used the ones in the room Out of the 3 mornings 2 of the breakfasts were very busy which made it a bit of a battle to get a seat/table. We went later on the 2nd day and that was so much better and enjoyable. The 3rd morning we had to go earlier again as we were leaving and clashed with a big crowd again. "Whilst the exterior and the grounds were lovely, the rooms show the past glory of the hotel. The rooms are in need of modernisation. Net curtains would be beneficial for more privacy. Check-in was speedy with a friendly receptionist, as well as check-out. Breakfast was nice but could do with more variety, perhaps more youghurts and other cold cuts and breads. The host at breakfast was very professional. "

"With a passable rating I wasn’t sure before arriving but it should have a higher score Reception staff was fantastic ,great location ,great set up Only small niggles is it needs more plugs in the room and it’s a few flights of stairs with no lift but otherwise fantastic for the price "
