"My sister and I stayed to celebrate my birthday. The hotel was very nice, the property was clean, the staff was friendly and we enjoyed the location the hotel was and everything that was nearby by. We stayed for four days and we were not able to get our room cleaned which was really disappointing. I turned on the icon outside of the room signaling the cleaning staff that we needed our room cleaned and when I followed up as to why our room wasn’t cleaned, I was told that cleaning request needed...

"The view is great, the property seems a little old for a 5 star resort. I got the butler suite and sometimes they were unresponsive which defeated the purpose. Lastly I don’t understand how I was paying over 1k a night and I can’t watch Netflix or YouTube in my TV in 2026. It just blows my mind. This is 3.8 star at best and not a 5 star resort."

"honestly, an amazing day the room stayed clean, even with how unorganized we got the ladies always came to make sure we had a clean space throughout the staff was so helpful and friendly and nice. The pool was amazing with the view. I loved it every second of the hot tub was perfect and honestly, the hotel was amazing. Only problem. I did not like the sargassum on the beach, but that is a natural problem in the hotel that their best to keep it clean."

"Great location! You can walk to Kalatua and Da waterhole! Great staff with great communication. Really helpful with transportation/taxis around the island. Clean rooms, washer/dryer and full kitchen. Only cons: the hot water turns cold quickly, no vents in the bathroom, sheets seemed old (were pilling)."

"So the hotel standards other JW Marriotts I have stayed at. The staff are great. The Sargassum was terrible which made outside pool area unbearable. Of course they cannot help this but since the sargassum is not being hauled away the smell is awful! The property is very far from everything, since there is only one pool and not much else on the resort to do, it left a lot to be desired."

"Vacation started off good. The location is great and we had the room on the 8th floor with the villa also which was great. But we returned from dinner one evening to a flooded bathroom because of a leaking toilet. It destroyed anything that we had in the bathroom. We called the front desk and waited an hr for someone to come up to fix the toilet. We had to clean up the water ourselves with the towels that we had in the room."

"Property is ran down in poor condition. Ants everywhere in the rooms, rooms not cleaned. Honestly, they should just tear it down and build something new"

"The room (1206) AC didnt go below 77 degrees. I called the front desk they said they would send someone , dont think any one came the AC wouldn't go lower the 4 days we were there. Also it is listed as a partial ocen view. You are on the bottom floor and Can Not see the ocean from the room at all. Room was clean but old. The staff was friendly."

"Excellent hotel , very clean and friendly staff. Rooms very spacious. Amazing beach . Only complaint is the noise level at night as our room was right accross the night club and noise went on every day till 3am ."
