"Do not spend the money for this horribly outdated hotel! You are much better off staying at an "apartment" that one of the locals can provide. I am not an overly picky hotel guest, and I come from a Croatian background, so I normally cut hotels some slack in Croatia, knowing that they are not quite what I would expect in North America, but I couldn't wait to leave this horrible relic from the old communist days of tourism. "This is the type of place you won’t want to leave. The accommodations themselves are great, spacious, and inviting but what makes it stellar are the hosts. They were beyond attentive, cheerful, and responsive. They provided us with delicious Croatian food and the best wine we had on our trip. I would return on a yearly basis if I lived in Europe. "
