"Lovely hotel with a lot of history which was displayed around various walls at reception,
If you don’t mind walking up various sets of stairs to get to your room (we were on level 1) you’ll be fine. There weren’t a lot of stairs but it was “walk up a couple then down a corridor, through a door and few more steps, another corridor and other door”. The floors creaked also but it was an old building so can’t complain. Free on site parking but be aware, pigeons live in the roof of the parking area and graced us with a present! We were able to walk to all the sites we wanted to visit so it was really hardly in that respect. No meals available on site but there is a bar on site."
