"The front desk tried to charge me an extra $100 deposit when I checked in even though I had booked months in advance. They didn't have a room ready and I was two hours late checking in as I arrived late. Many of the rooms were deemed not suitable for habitation by the city with visable signage. The room service was done only if asked. The hotel smelled like mildew everywhere. The shower puddled behind the toilet when used. The "kitchen" sink didn't work. "If you need an extended stay in a clean room, this is a good match. Staff is helpful, room has full fridge and range top. A two spot table to eat and a... bulletin board? Bed was comfy. Grounds were weedy but otherwise ok. Room was very utilitarian and the hotel does not have a pool or fitness center."

Really this is the best hotel in Racine and I can't wait to stay there again on future family visits to SE Wisconsin. Neighborhood seemed to be relatively safe & quiet. Only odd thing to be forewarned about is all of the unusual smells in common areas. Combinations of insence, vape, dog, cologne, carpet shampoo. "We reserved a room for 4 guests. Our room only had 2 towels. When the front desk was paged, we were told to go get them from the lobby. I asked if they could be brought to the room and the gentleman was nice enough to bring them. Then, we realized that the room had no hand soap and no body wash.
