"We booked here for a long weekend, attracted by the photos of the property, previous good reviews, and its location. Overall, this was a lovely place to stay, but not without its drawbacks. First, the good stuff. The property is quirky in a good way. We loved the decor and the overall vibe. Each staff member we interacted with was very friendly and attentive. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the shower was good. The breakfast had a good selection and plenty of seating. The location of the hotel is just far enough away from the main tourist bits that you feel a bit more connected to an authentic experience. Good restaurants nearby. Now, the not so good things. Our room was on the first floor and it let a lot of noise in from the lobby and bar area, sometimes going late into the night. Bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise. We never did manage to figure out how to use the temperature control in the room. Some instructions would be handy. With the breakfast, we tended to stick to the cold options because the hot food never seemed to be warm enough. The coffee could use some improvement as well. All in all, the positives outweigh the negatives. It's a nice enough place and we're happy with our stay, but I can't say for certain we'd stay again."

"All ok ok. Weird alarm on both nights- rooms are not soundproof. Room needed a rug- just too bare. Breakfast was good. It's not the most lively place. I did like that they had a kettle in the room. That was probably the nicest thing for me."
