"Great hotel in a beautiful location. We only stayed one night, but could have stayed longer. The pools looked fantastic and well cleaned. We had an excellent meal, and then played pool on the table next to the bar! The hotel is trying hard to be eco, and we had a very interesting bathroom surrounded by plants in the shower, and an open air roof - covered by mesh to stop anything nasty getting in! We watched a fantastic sunset whilst drinking cocktails. Very memorable. Staff were lovely."

"Wir haben in einem der neuen 2-stöckigen Familienzimmer übernachtet. Es sah auch in echt so schön aus wie auf den Bildern. Das "Badezimmer" war nach oben hin offen. "Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. "Very disappointed, the hotel looked lovely in the photos but reality was a different story. With the exception of one waiter none of the staff seemed to know what they were doing. The pool was filthy and the water was green. The room was shabby and in desperate need of a refurb, broken bathroom fixtures, hole in sheet, dirty curtains, broken tie-backs. Bar area was okay but at breakfast our table was covered in flies. Avoid this place at all costs "

The rooms were cosy, and the food was absolutely amazing- one of the main reasons we chose this place, and it truly lived up to our expectations. Just a small heads-up: the rooms didn’t come with toiletries, so make sure to bring your own. Would definitely recommend! So glad we stayed here. "
