"I greatly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I was there for 7 days. I wanted to be outside of Amsterdam downtown and I was well-served! There was a tram almost in front of the hotel, which was convenient in both directions. It is a 10-minute walk to the metro. The breakfast was fantastic! And even more so at the top of the hotel. Beautiful views over Amsterdam. The staff was also extremely helpful and attentive."

"The room was nice and I really appreciated the air conditioning. Enjoyed the great view from the 7th-floor bar at sunset (and would've enjoyed the rooftop hot tub and sauna if the weather hadn't been so hot). Skip the overpriced breakfast buffet (which is mostly just bread and cheese) upstairs and get a tastier quick breakfast and an excellent chai latte at Werkplats on the ground floor for 1/3 less. I really like the atmosphere at Werkplats. And if you're there later in the day, their hard...

"Wat een fijn hotel om te verblijven! Moderne schone kamer en prima bed. Gratis parkeren op eigen terrein en een restaurant maken het helemaal af. Het ontbijt is erg lekker en uitgebreid. Ligt op een industrieterrein/kantoren terrein, maar doordat alles bij het hotel zit, hoef je ook lekker niet meer weg na het inchecken. Lekker een drankje in de bar en daarna een hapje eten, helemaal prima! Alle medewerkers zijn heel vriendelijk."

"The building is older and the room was smaller, but it was in a very central location. I took public transportation once to go a bit out of the city. I walked everywhere else. The staff was great."

"Location is excellent, walking distance from all the main attractions and neighborhoods. We received a room facing the back so it was very quiet even though we were on the first floor. AC works great which was very important to us given the summer heat. Only thing to note is that rooms are very small."

"The bed sheet had a stain on it and the facilities appeared to only be wiped down. They may clean it weekly but I was only there for a weekend and only notice daily wipe downs. Other than that towels were brought daily and the facilities appeared to be clean. Overall, it was a good experience since it’s near a lively neighborhood and a couple museums but it was a bit far out from the city center. Great for a short stay but I don’t think I’d stay there for a week"

The pool is quite small and in a hot and humid basement, and there is an extra cost to use the sauna. The rooms are clean, modern, and well-equipped."

"Our room and bathroom were very clean and the twin beds very comfortable. It was very hot when we visited so we were grateful for the blackout curtains and large fan! Breakfast was a highlight, absolutely delicious, lots of choice, even for vegetarian and gluten free options, and we enjoyed sitting watching the bicycle “rush hour” going past the window every morning! Staff were so friendly and helpful, and happy to give me ideas for things to do. We really loved our stay in this quirky,...

"Compact room, as advertised. Room 14 would be very hot on summer nights. Loud tenants above room 14 until late in the evening, not sure if this is resident/owner or just other hotel guests."
