"Localisation parfaite seul point positif. Équipement de la cuisine plus que sommaire (pas de saladier,passoire,manique,dessous de plat...des choses de base). Pas de porte aux toilettes (intimité ?) douche dans la chambre avec ventilation très bruyante. Les 4 fenêtres de la pièce principale ne s ouvrent pas ce qui était anxiogène. "We ended up booking at this inn because our flight to Portugal was cancelled the day before our flight and we had to overnight in the Netherlands. We didn’t want to stay super close to the airport. After looking at the photos of the inn on Expedia, we chose to stay at the Abbey Abcoude, as it seemed close enough to Schipol without being right at the airport. "We stayed here for a short break, 3 nights. On arrival we used the self check-in machines at the front entrance, we accidentally hit a button that gave us two complimentary drinks at he bar, but this meant that due to environmental friendly hotel policy we would not have our rooms cleaned, including no replenishment of towels or bedding and no cleaning of the room including not waste or rubbish disposal! The AC is set at a minimum temperature, so room did get very hot. Overall the hotel was ok...

"Check in was difficult. The 3pm check-in was firm and with so many flights arriving in the morning, there were dozens waiting for 3pm to arrive to get their keys. Our reservation also specifically stated queen bed, but when we got to our room with two twin beds we were told, “that’s what we have, we don’t guarantee any bed type”. After that everything was very good. Room was clean, location was nice with a lot of things within walking distance."

"Le personnel dans l’ensemble est accueillant et serviable. Particulièrement au petit déjeuner et au réceptionniste qui nous a accueilli. Notre séjour à l’hôtel fut agréable, excepté les enfants d’une famille qui semblait occuper au moins 2 chambres. J’ai dû leur demander gentiment de se calmer. Mais bon les parents auraient du intervenir. Autre bémol, un détail certes mais c’est pour l’amélioration de votre service: oubli de laver un verre ou de remplacer le papier."

"Kristina was amazing - patient and super accommodating during a very tough period of a conference coming to town. The whole team at reception were great throughout. Room nice and minimalist. No hotel information in the room or on smart TV but there is a QR code discreetly stuck to the room mirror. We didn't receive the complimentary water (but did have the cards left in the fridge) but this may just be because we were able to check into a different room early and these were forgotten when the...
