The proximity to the airport was key for us, their shuttle picked us up from Terminal 2. We used the metro to get to our destinations and the train station was adjacent to the airport.

Disappointed that the shuttle from the airport stopped at 11:00 PM, our flight landed at 11:05 PM. Had to pay for taxi from international terminal. However, Victoria at check in was very helpful. Bed was comfy and clean. Some maintenance issues in the lobby and and elevator areas, but appeared to be mainly cosmetic. Very convenient to the airport for a one night stay. Would stay again.

Bed was comfortable, checkin took over 30 minutes and due to the design of the hotel you can hear all the noise in the lobby and the music in the lounge until 10pm. Not the greatest if you have an early departure the next day. Room and bathroom were not the cleanest. Would not stay again based on how noisy it is and every room has the same exposure.

I can’t describe how poorly maintained this hotel is. The chairs are ripped, the pool is also poorly maintained, and the whole place feels like going back in time. When I arrived in Mexico City, I stayed at the nearby Fiesta Inn, and even though it’s outside the airport, it was much better. On my way back home, I thought staying at Camino Real would be a nicer experience, but it was definitely the wrong choice. The hotel feels very old and outdated and needs serious maintenance. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I didn’t like this property at all. The beds were the worst, they were very uncomfortable, and I didn’t sleep well. The food at the two restaurants inside the hotel was also overpriced, so overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The only good thing about this hotel was the free airport shuttle service. Knowing that someone would be picking me up from the airport took a lot of pressure off my mind, especially after travelling.
