"Stayed during the Jazz Fest. It was actually excellent for what we needed! The pod itself was very clean and I didn't get claustrophobic at all; the bathrooms, hit or miss depending on when they cleaned it. Super nice staff! They loaned me a phone charger too. Would definitely stay again!"

"A special place in the heart of the city. Our sunset swim in the outdoor pool on the rooftop was a lovely treat. The rooms were great and front desk staff very helpful. The breakfast buffet was robust and staff excellent there too. Proximity to the underground was so easy - didn't even have to go outside. "Make no mistake, this is a budget hotel. My room was nice but the decorative fireplace did not work and the TV remote was non-responsive until it launched into a pay movie on its own that the staff later agreed to remove from the bill. The carpeted hallway outside of the elevator on my floor was dirty. There's a reason why there's no pictures of the interior of the Italian restaurant, called Novella. "While the rooms have clearly been updated…nice shower and comfortable beds, the older in-room safe was malfunctioning and beeping every 10 seconds and with no one showing up to fix it after our request, we had to cover it with our clothes to muffle the noise. Overall, while our room was very nice, this hotel could improve immensely if they kept the public spaces cleaner….vacuuming the hallways and ESPECIALLY dumping the exterior garbage cans. Perhaps that would eliminate the need for rodent...

"We loved the beautiful space at Hotel Place d’Armes. The hotel itself is very clean, comfortable, and has a great atmosphere.
