I can honestly say that this is the first negative review we have ever left for a hotel so it is not something that we find joy in doing. "Tea tour and tasting was a must-do experience! Dinner in the train car was amazing! Service was great and food was excellent!"

"We arrived around 6.30pm during a crazy storm, the down pour was full on. The signs could be clearer, our driver struggled to get up the steep hill so we walked with our bags. "Our stay at Te Dalu was exceptional. We loved that the hotel was located a little outside of Ella proper, which allowed for connection with the beautiful environment and scenery while still being convenient to the amenities of the main town.
