"The Gage was absolutely lovely for a weekend getaway- however — it’s was MUCH further from State College than advertised on Expedia- which said 22 miles. It was actually 37 miles- much further than we planned and made the weekend including WAY more travel- including late at nite- than we anticipated We had plans in SC- and travelled 4 hours to SC."

"This was an absolutely beautiful property!!! Loved all The farm animals (horses, chickens, roosters, peacocks and piggies!). The cabins were so well kept and cozy. "Owners very nice! Love location. Not a great stay, kitchen didn’t have needed items to cook, oven mitts, trays, etc. Far too hot!!! Space needs at least two more AC units and definitely one of those on first floor for the size. Need to limit the number of dogs there at same time, I and one of my kiddos was bitten by another guests dog. It would be helpful to know exactly the bedding arrangements for each space. "Love location and owners. Some adjustments are needed, this isn’t camping it’s glamping and you cannot do it halfway. Need more AC in second floor units like this one, our unit was well over 100 degrees when we arrived and never got below 80 degrees inside even when temps dipped outside at night, very uncomfortable.
