"We were given an upgrade to larger room which was ok..but lots of stairs , as third floor and both over 60 lol but appreciated the extra space . Hotel was in good place for visting other places. The meal we had in the restaurant was yummy , i had the fish and chips and hubby had the burger. But breakfast not so good, bacon was hard as was streaky and it was a mix for scrambled egg which was not very nice , tin mushrooms and tomatoes needed cooking longer and sausage and hash brown was ok and...

"The cottage was very cosy and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was so comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean."

"Nice location and beautiful setting."

"At check in I asked for walks in the area from the accommodation and the lady said she didn’t know. I would expect the customer services dept to be able to provide that information. I would also expect to be taken to the room rather than pointed in the right direction. Room good as expected for price - disappointing no mirror in bedroom and not good ventilation in bathroom. Milk not provided for tea in room. Restaurant on a sunny Saturday afternoon- plates and glasses weren’t cleared away which...

"Beautiful hotel! Sits on a golf course - wide, open spaces. Great walks among peaceful settings. Buildings were beautiful and well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant on site was excellent. Teens enjoyed the spa/pool/hot tub area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - will return!"

"Conveniently located on the outskirts of Cheltenham. Clean throughout Beautiful building and fabulous staff"

"Helpful staff"

"AWESOME hotel! Great staff, rooms are exquisitely appointed with color and style. Beds are SUPERB: slept better in their bed than my own lol! Will be back!"

"⭐⭐ Disappointing stay — facilities not worth the price Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my stay. The hotel feels very dated and considering the price, I expected a much better standard of accommodation and facilities. There were also several issues with the room. The ground-floor window would not lock, which was concerning from a security point of view. The shower-to-bath setting didn’t work, and the bathroom extractor fan could not be switched off. It was extremely loud and kept...

"Staff helpful and friendly. Free parking for 24 hours . Room ok BUT had a funny mouldy smell even with the window open . Good choice at breakfast. Very satisfied apart from the odour in the room . Ideal position for appointment at the Nuffield hospital"
