"Excellent, visited this hotel as in February 9th 1945 my grandfather was outside here with the the 61st Highland Anti Tank Regiment. Great history in the area and the hotel. We did have a little difficulty during dinner with language barrier mixing our main courses and part of our order was not given however we received excellent help for an English speaking waiter and the situtwas rectified."

"No air-conditioning and hot weather made the heat in the apartment unbearable. It fluctuated between 29 and 31 degrees Celsius according to the thermostat (even with two fans running), but it felt hotter. The room was dusty and could have been cleaner. The spiral staircase to the loft was extremely steep and flimsy. One of the steps was broken and a heavier person could easily fall through. I pointed this out but it was never fixed during our stay. "Booked the hotel for a business trip. Had the worst night ever as since 4 in de morning the fire alarm kept going off every 20-60 minutes this lasted untill at least 8:00 this. After I check at the reception and the staff could not tell me when this would be fixed i decided to check out after one night instead of the planned 3.
