Also would have loved to have been there in the summer to take more advantage of their free bike, kayak, and paddle board use. Bike path runs directly in front of the hotel next to the river. Friendly staff would stay here again. Also the fireplace, cookies and 24/7 coffee tea and hot chocolate was wonderful!!!"

"Breakfast was good. Real scrambled eggs! Beds were comfy and bathroom had bath sheets instead of the small bath towels. Only a short drive to Glacier National Park. My only complaint is that the carpet made the room smell like dirty feet. Time to get rid of the carpet people!"

"Wonderstone has comfortable and clean rooms and a great location to visit Kalispell, Whitefish and Columbia Falls. The coffee bar for guests in the lobby was wonderful and a great option! The hotel staff were very helpful and even when we arrived late they helped us get to our room quickly. Thank you for making our stay most enjoyable!"

"The hotel was clean but tired, our bed was ok but worn. The carpet is in need of replacement, I saw staff working on cleaning the carpet but that only go so far. The front desk was fantastic, check in was great and later we asked if she could make coffee (coffee was empty) and she did it right away, was nice about it."

"I stay at Grouse usually in the fall for hockey. This was my first time staying in May. The largest draw to this hotel is their hot-tub and sauna. It was not advertised until check in that they were doing remodeling on that area so it’s closed until June. The onsite restaurant is a nice benefit to this place however the walls are notoriously thin at this hotel and the air conditioner does not keep the room cool enough as it’s very outdated. "Breakfast advertises cook to order but there was only frozen breakfast sandwiches and burritos. Also, evening dinner meals were horrible due to absolutely no seasonings in the food."

"Charming cabins nestled into the trees. Only a 10 minute drive to Glacier National Park entrance. We stayed in the spacious two bedroom, kitchen, living room cabin with authentic western decor and ambiance. A wonderful stay. "

"Great location and very updated property; but bring or use ear plugs with the heat or a/c unit going because it's system is very loud and will keep awakening you. Instead of a ductless quiet system despite the expensive rate to stay at the hotel, the hotel chooses to use a wall unit which is like staying at a Motel 6 or quality inn without the discount."
