"Nice old pub building in the centre of the small town. Down stairs arras were very nice with a cosy and traditional atmosphere. On checking in was advised kitchen was closed for 2 of the 3 nights. Breakfast (American pancakes) was very poor. Room was ok but tired around the edges. Very few power points and signs of a long term leak from shower which is always off putting. "Beautiful grounds and gardens, access to the beach. Good facilities including swimming pool, bar, pool room.Very welcoming. Good breakfast. Good parking. Standard room wasn't the best. Overall very good and would come again. "

"Fabulous welcome from the manager, he went above and beyond to give us the best experience. We had a very nice roon with a beautiful view of the estuary. "Good stay in a very tired hotel, when we checked in, the male receptionist was not very welcoming, not a good start. Great room, great view through the patio door along with a great draughty through the doors. Lack of st@ff meant we didn’t get out room cleaned for 4 days, also on website they advertised extra things at breakfast. Omelets, kippers etc. in reality, they didn’t domomelets as they only had one chef, at night for evening meal, still only one chef, a choice of 3 staters, 3 mains and 3...

"Julie my wife and I stayed at kates farm for three nights for a break and a rest, we had a great break and we are totally rested. Fantastic break, Julie and Kate walking dogs every morning and evening, I kept the real fire going and that was perfect for us to sit down next to in the evening. Others said the breakfast was great and they are correct, Kates breakfast was fantastic .Kate was very attentive at all times and we felt perfectly at home."
