"Great property for 3 people. It was well equipped very clean . Location perfect for Hawkeshead for all amenities. Will definitely return."

"We had room 310 it where there are some sort of blowers air con also a fire door is left open and the staff use it come come in and out but the hotel is a great place to stop apart from this"

"Superb hotel right on the lake and right next to the boat trip and the steam train . Very relaxing , rooms ate lovely clean , great views over the lake ."

"Bit dated"

"I’m very disappointed because this property is simply not accurately advertised. The accommodation itself is nice, but several of the facilities that influenced my decision to book DO NOT EXIST as advertised. "Pro. Clean room. Views. Bar. Staff helpful Cons smelly plumbing in room. Breakfast chaotic when busy. Having to order eggs/porridge and point to your table isn’t great. Coffee is from a machine, awful. Tea from a teabag isn’t great but better than the coffee"

"Staff on front desk & restaurant were lovely; neither tv in our room worked & when asked housekeeping if anyone could help she got another 2 of her team to come check then neither of them could help us"

"The hotel has a car park, however you its a extra cost per night. Its advertised as having amenities such as a gym and spa. This is also at an extra charge. We wanted a dog friendly hotel, this was the most disappointing aspect. It felt like a after thought, the room was tiny and and a annex part of the hotel on the ground floor."

"We had cabin 1 and it was great. Hot tub, wood, everything was lovely and well thought out. Everything you need was there"

"Substandard food. Unwillingness to listen to feedback. Over inflated prices"
