"This was our second trip to this resort, the rooms, pools, restaurants, &bars have all been updated. Great location and friendly staff. The beach feels private and you can enjoy the wildlife anywhere you go. Highly recommend for adults and kids. If you’re booking through Expedia and get round-trip transportation, I recommend that you touch base with the company a day or two before you travel back to the airport just to check in so they know your pick up time. "This was our seventh stay at Condovac. It suits our needs perfectly. Although it is an older resort, the location could not be more beautiful. The views from the open-air buffet and pool area are spectacular and the proximity to the beach works perfectly for our twice daily walks and snorkeling. We do not need the extensive buffets of other local resorts (if you do, this resort might not be a good fit). The rooms are older, but very clean and we look forward to next year's stay."

"People are super friendly, rooms are big and clean, food at the all inclusive package is totally worth it. There are 2 main restaurants where you can have à la carte food and they have good options and variety. The beachfront advertisements are for real, you literally walk 20 steps to the beach"

"It was so enjoyable to walk around the grounds. The landscaping was absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of wildlife to see. There were two sloths near check in and a Glock of birds roost in a tree at night near a walkway. In the morning there is a group of turkey like birds that walk around. We went to several pools and restaurants. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Overall a very nice place to stay. "

"Super happy with our stay here. The room was maybe the cleanest I’ve seen in CR, with a great view of the pools and volcano. Staff went above and beyond at every interaction, especially Deyber at the front desk. Cancelled some of our excursions to relax more at the Thermal spa. Wish the steam room had been actually steaming, as it was more so just a warm room. Everything else was just fantastic, including poolside meals and the Lava Restaurant. "
