"I am extremely disappointed with the service provided. I booked a queen bed with a sea view through Expedia and paid an additional amount for this upgrade. "Lovely castle. With great views! Room nice however Bathroom in room was a cupboard which let the room down. Breakfast was nice however overpriced for a limited selection, would be nice to have eggs royale for example. Also staff were very mixed on what was and wasn’t gluten free… a vegetarian breakfast was served instead. Not worth £17.50. "

"It was our dream to visit St.Ives all the way from Japan and we decided to stay at this hotel which reached to our expectation. The quality and atmosphere of the room over looking the beach was impressive. The room and every corner of the hotel was taken care accurately and neatly with the a kind of pride and affection of the owner and staffs. The breakfast was not gorgeous like a modern 5 star hotel, but it was good enough to enjoy the touch of a fresh morning in England. We would love to come...

"Lovely stay. Great hotel and location. Room was fantastic as were the staff. Randomly they don’t sell crisps or peanuts at the bar - which I thought was odd. Still a 5 star stay though."

"Staff in the restaurant/spa bar/spa were really helpful and pleasant. The indoor pool was great. Sadly we didn't get to use the outdoor pool as it rained but it did look very nice. View from our room was lovely too. We booked breakfast on one day but found it too much after dinner the previous night. We ate at taste of Cornwall one night. The food was very good but the room was very dark and the music stopped a couple of times and nobody around to turn it back on, so lacked a nice ambience."
