"1 bed appt, perfect for my needs. Only quibble was sofa. Nice balcony over looking courtyard. Spa facility (pool, jacuzzi, steam room etc) was great, very clean and well run. Its a shame the restaurant wasn't running but as I had an appt with a kitchen it wasn't really a problem. Small shop on site open for 2 hrs each evening, and a temporary bar above the spa. Its a bit in the sticks but only 20 mins drive from Bideford. All the staff were friendly and helpful."

"We absolutely loved our stay. Best location. The staff here are a real credit to the hotel. and were incredibly friendly and helpful. The lovely lady that checked us in. The kind gentleman that happily changed our room after a slight issue and the really friendly lady at breakfast the following day. Lovely clean pool area and the best Margaritas!! All this plus it being in the most beautiful part of Newquay it really was a special birthday treat. We often visit Cornwall as we used to live...

"We had an excellent stay at the Esplanade hotel. It's perfect for a family stay and very near to Fistral beach. Claudia was especially welcoming and loved our little one. Despite it saying there was no cot for the room when I booked, there was a cot and sheet in the room on arrival. The only downsides in the room were...

"Well appointed clean room with super hotel amenities. Breakfast good and staff friendly."

"Location is unique next door to Pendennis castle and easy walking distance from Falmouth, it's bars and restaurants."

"The bed was clean but uncomfortable. The shower was definitely not cleaned thoroughly as there was a booger on the wall inside and there was a razor left behind. Views and location were great. Staff were kind and helpful, but for the price, this stay was not comfortable."
