"Lovely clean room with everything we needed from a kettle and mugs to bathroom essentials. It was really quiet and the bed was very comfy. There's restaurants very close by as well."

"Friendly helpful staff. We arrived several hours early and were shown to our room as it was ready. On check out, we asked if we could leave our car in the car park while we did a bit more exploring of Stamford, no problem! Lovely breakfast."

"The hotel was beautiful, with the add Christmas feel. We stayed for one night, for a visit to Burghley House Christmas Market, it was perfect location. Dinner and breakfast was good, however a little expensive. The room was warm, cost and had all amenities needed. The only complaint, was the bed was a little hard. We would definitely recommend a visit to the Haycock Hotel. "

"The room was very clean. There wasnt a lock on the bathroom door which didn't bother us but might not be the same for someone else staying in our room. The staff were amazing as always. This is our third time staying here and every time we've had a lovely stay, lovely food and always felt so welcoming "

"Room was spotless, bed really comfortable and this hotels biggest strong point was the reception staff - especially Zaf who was welcoming, warm and so helpful with everything needed - directed me to local restaurants, booked me a taxi to work and really does understand what good customer service means. "Extremely friendly receptionist and it’s so nice to be accompanied to your room rather than be left alone . The hotel rooms are quite quirky with antique furnishings and our room had an oriental/ Asian flavour…perhaps some artwork over the bed would have made the room more appealing.The bed and shower were great and extremely hot water so that is a bonus. We walked to visit Burghley house which is located behind the inn and is a must see. The town of Stamford is a hidden gem …I felt we were on a...

"Had a lovely stay here the room was fabulous the bed was so comfy we stayed in the wild horse room it had a huge bathroom with bath and walk in shower and the toilet was separated from the bathroom the staff are friendly and nothings to much trouble Great little touches like fresh milk and homemade cookies which were delicious "
