"Staff were very friendly, responsive and genuinely made you feel welcome. The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are a little bit of paradise. The beach is a short walk down a jungle path and it is also lovely to lie by the pool and watch sloths, Toucans and Red Macaws in the trees as well as have the monkeys come by for a more boisterous visit. This is a place to come and relax. "

"The bed was too hard and pillows firm. I prefer a softer mattress and fluffy pillows. In our room, the AC unit required a key to operate that was attached to our room key so when you leave, the AC unit turns off. So you come out of the heat to a hot humid room. However, our friends room AC unit didn’t require a key so make sure to ask about that. Other than that, the rooms are very spacious and clean. Our balcony was amazing to sit in the morning and have a cup of coffee looking out at the ocean...

"Beautiful location. Staff was amazing. Yvania at the front desk is the best concierge. Julia served my decaf espresso with foam every day with a super smile & friendly service. Food was great. Pool was perfect. The beds & pillows were comfortable. What a wonderful trip at Issimo Suites. I loved waking up every morning to the sound of Howler monkeys & many tropical birds. We even swam with the white face monkeys in the pool one day..... very carefully & from afar ;) It was an extra luxury...
