"The area around the hotel is beautiful with the marina!! Unfortunately the hotel is positioned in such a way that no rooms face the marina, only the parking lot, and that is a shame."

"The property is left unlocked which is a little concerning in today’s environment and we were also told to leave key inside room, meaning we had to leave it unlocked, and unattended when we left. The room with 2 twin beds had 2 windows and neither window locked. Staff quarters also left unlocked so it’s an assumption there’s low crime in the area but leaves it open to potential assault or abuse. No staff on site and not well lit"

Nice kitchenette, bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked well and this was a very nice location for the walk on the path into town. Only 10 minutes and we were in the midst of the restaurants and also the boat tour and ferry to Madeline Island."

"The cottage looks nice in photos and they do keep it as clean as they can; however, it is very rundown. We were bothered by the strong smell of fabric softener (gives us migraines) and mildew. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom narrow and dark, and overall, we just had “the creeps” the whole time. So much so that we left early. Honestly, we expected more for the price. You can find better options in the area for what we paid."

"First time staying in a more upscale establishment. It didn't disappoint. Beautiful location with a really good view of the lake. I especially enjoyed the mornings spent on the porch with a cup of coffee and a good book. Food was a cut above anything else we had ever had before and I would encourage anybody to go for Supper even if you are not a guest of the Inn. Thank you to the friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff that made our stay a pleasure."
