"A beautiful hotel with top notch staff that strive to ensure one wants for nothing - or if you do want, just ask. Restaurants were great. The fantastic free breakfasts really adds to the value. A beautiful lobby and bar (with pooltable!). We didn’t take advantage of the spa but loved spending time in the mineral bath inside their pineapple greenhouse! "A good location at the top of the hill and has great indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Rooms are a good size and beds comfortable. Some of the decor is a little tired and the breakfast really is not worthy of a four star hotel."

"Absolutely gorgeous property! Service and amenities (outdoor pool, sauna, indoor small warm pool) were simply perfect. The area is a bit tucked away so you’ll need a rental car - but on the other hand, spending a few days here just relaxing is great too! Views are amazing, beds are comfy, food is really good. Property has a calming, quiet, adult vibe. I would happily return! "

"The location of the hotel was in the middle of Ponta Delgada which was very beneficial. The facilities in the hotel were very good. Service and food in the restaurant and bar were also very good. The room and its facilities was good too, our only whinge was the time taken for hot water to arrive after the tap was turned on. The staff were excellent and friendly."
